Individual candidates are well represented. Over 20 rookie and experienced life insurance agents and advisers will compete for top spot in their categories of Agent, Agency Leaders and Advisers. Not only will the Awards celebrate individual agents and advisers, life insurance companies are also vying to be the best at serving their agents even in the era of disruptive technology and innovation.
In total, the first round of judging by a panel of over 20 expert leaders in the life industry saw some 50 candidates make it to the finals for 13 categories, including bank partners and technology providers. The Awards will also honour the Executive Champion of the Year, as well as bestow a Lifetime Achievement Award on the agents with outstanding contributions to their companies and the industry respectively.
Mr Sivam Subramaniam, Editor-in-Chief of Asia Insurance Review, said: “The quality of the 350 entries from more than 25 companies across Asia means that the finalists are already outstanding winners in their own right. They have much to celebrate. “
The judges will meet on 23 May in Hong Kong to choose the winners for each category and the Gala Awards Presentation will be held in Singapore on 12 July, in conjunction with the first ever International Training Summit for Agents & Advisers.
The Awards, which recognises and salutes agents, is organised by Asia Insurance Review and LIMRA, with AIA as strategic partner and Sun Life Financial as sponsor.
