How should agents and advisers stand out in the digital era? Three industry experts on the judging panel of the 4th Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards share their insights.
IFPAS President: Mr Leong Sow Hoe
With 30 years under his belt in the insurance industry, Mr Leong has been a member of his company’s CEO council for over a decade and has served in various committees on products, operations, compliance and compensation.
Mr Leong has been serving in the Insurance and Financial Practitioners Association of Singapore (IFPAS) since 2012 and is also the Chairman of the IFPAS Alliance FAIR committee, the STAR team.
FSMA President: Mr Mark Tang
Mr Tang has been active in the Financial Services Managers Association (FSMA) in Singapore since 2015 and has served in various leadership positions within the organisation. He is also the current Vice President of his company’s agency management association, and he has taken lead roles in various committees including on products, compensation and operations.
Jensen Siaw International CEO: Mr Jensen Siaw
Mr Siaw is an international speaker who has motivated over 250,000 people through his keynotes and seminars across Asia. Known as a master motivator in the life insurance industry, he has coached MDRT, COT and TOT qualifiers and leaders of Multi-Million Dollar Agencies.
Jensen is also the master trainer for AIA Singapore annual MDRT boot camp since 2014. As a regular recruitment keynote speaker in the region, he works closely with CAOs and agency leaders to achieve a breakthrough in their recruitment and production results.
As there are over 20 judges in the upcoming Awards, we’ll be compiling some key points of what each judge is looking out for in a successful nominee. Judges’ answers vary from qualities they look out for in an individual that goes beyond production figures, to tips on how to navigate across challenges and obstacles.
The 4th Asia Trusted Life Agents and Advisers Awards is now open for submissions. The Awards with an independently-audited judging process is organised by Asia Insurance Review and Asia Advisers Network, with co-organiser LIMRA and Strategic Partner AIA.
