FSMA President message

On behalf of Financial Services Managers Association (FSMA), I am both honoured and privileged to serve as your President for the Term 2020/21 together with our new management committee, Calvin Lee (President FSMA 2019/2020), Andy Law, Michael Chen, Queenie Ang, Kurt Ng, Leslie Ng, Hux Lim and Leonard Chen.

I would like to express my most sincere appreciation and gratitude to the Past Presidents, Committee Members and Board Of Governors who have served selflessly and allowed us to enjoy the fruits of their labour.

I am fortunate to inherit a strong team from Immediate Past President Calvin Lee and look forward to strengthening it further.

Talent Recruitment

Firstly, Vision 1+1 will be one of our top priorities for the Management Committee to strengthen our current position. All organisations rise when they are driven by good talent.

With each Management Committee (MC) member recruiting one volunteer or new MC for FSMA, our talent pool will be doubled.

I also appeal to you to step forward either to join us in service or introduce your friends to FSMA.

This will strengthen our capacity to serve our members better. It is important as we have a fast-expanding pool of members embarking on agency building courses like Agency Management Training Course (AMTC) and Pacesetter.

Education

Secondly, FSMA continues its focus to commit to providing education courses to equip agency leaders, helping them to better lead their agencies with high productivity through developing more MDRT advisers.

FSMA education roadmap will lead us towards the prestigious CIAM (Chartered Insurance Agency Manager) designation.

Serving

Finally, as the saying goes:

We Make a Living by What We Get,

But We Make a Life by What We Give

FSMA would like to thank all moderators who have stepped forward to give back and make the industry a more professional one.

In closing, the COVID-19 situation is still evolving, may your family and good self be protected.

May you all be strengthened to overcome this season victoriously.

Royce Lee

FSMA President 2020/2021
