Called Manulife Korm Pear, the plan provides customers with access to early detection and treatment from the early stages and is designed to strengthen financial resilience and provide peace of mind for Cambodian families.
The introduction of this plan reinforces Manulife’s focus on supporting the long-term well-being and longevity of Cambodians and reflects its commitment to stand beside Cambodian families throughout every stage of life.
By ensuring that care and support are within reach, the plan provides the protection families need when facing a diagnosis that could reshape their future.
Mr Rotha Chan, CEO and General Manager of Manulife Cambodia, said, “Everyday, 38 Cambodians lose their lives to cancer, in part because early detection feels out of reach for many. Manulife Korm Pear is more than insurance – it’s peace of mind and dependable support when families need it most. By providing equal coverage for both early and late-stage cancer, we empower families to seek healthcare sooner, improve their quality of life, and protect their future.”
With its essential 3-in-1 coverage for cancer, life, and total and permanent disability, the plan offers families up to $10,000 in support from the time a cancer diagnosis is confirmed – whether the cancer is found early or later. By encouraging earlier health checks and supporting timely detection, Manulife Korm Pear empowers customers to take proactive steps that contribute to better outcomes and reduce long term financial strain.
To broaden accessibility, the plan allows customers to secure coverage without a medical examination and requires only two years of premium payments for six full years of coverage. Customers who choose to make a one-time premium payment are eligible for a 40% discount, making protection even more affordable, reported Kiripost.
