UnderwriteMe has announced a new partnership with insurer HCF Life to launch Life Protect Insurance, a new proposition leveraging technology, data, and analytics in providing customers with personalised solutions that consider their respective circumstances such as lifestyle, medical, and family history.
This new offering is available for purchase online and is set to replace the existing non-underwritten Smart Term Insurance product. Customers with HCF health insurance can also secure a 10% discount for Life Protect’s annual premium.
The collaboration with HCF Life marks the sixth for UnderwriteMe in both the Australian and New Zealand markets.
HCF chief officer of product and diversified business Lorraine Thomas said that the partnership supports the firm’s ambition to design and develop affordable and comprehensive insurance solutions.
“Our new Life Protect Insurance complements our award-winning life and health insurance product range. It’s about providing the comfort and peace of mind that HCF will be there to help and support during difficult times,” Ms Thomas said, reported Insurance Business.
Life Protect Insurance is available online and will replace the existing non-underwritten Smart Term Insurance product. HCF health insurance customers will also benefit from a 10% discount off Life Protect’s annual premium.
Last December, UnderwriteMe launched a digital underwriting service with Zurich.
