Hong Kong: Generali launches unlimited critical illness benefit

Generali Hong Kong has launched LionGuardian, a new critical illness product with unlimited claims for major critical conditions.

It is the first product in the market that offers unlimited critical illness benefit, protection against 138 different illnesses and 100% of sum assured for each major critical illness claim, which is not affected by other benefit payouts, said the company statement.

The critical illness insurance plan offers coverage up to 100 years old with a minimum sum assured of US$12,500 per policy. This product is highly suited for people with families, as it guarantees financial protection for the loved ones of the policyholder, should they fall ill, according to the company.
