The 6th Asia Trusted Life Agents & Advisers Awards received 280 submissions from over 60 companies and 17 markets.
Organised by Asia Insurance Review and Asia Advisers Network with co-organiser LIMRA and strategic partner AIA and sponsors Allianz and Union Assurance, the Awards recognises the best in life insurance agency and advisory across the region.
The Awards consists of a rigorous two-stage judging process with an esteemed panel of 30 judges comprised of CEOs, senior executives, heads of associations and industry experts. The judging process is carried out under the supervision of independent auditor EY.
The first round of judging has begun with judges assessing and scoring the entries to shortlist finalists. The second round of judging is scheduled for May 2021, where the judging panel will meet virtually for a robust discussion before selecting winners by secret ballot.
The winners will be revealed only on 7 July in a virtual Awards night.

This year saw the introduction of two new categories. Firstly, the Employee Benefits Consultant of the Year category to recognise the consultant who has demonstrated expertise in providing customised solutions for organisations of different sizes with different talent management needs. Secondly, the Employee Benefits Provider of the Year category to recognise the Employee Benefits Provider with wide-ranging customisable solutions, to cater to the needs of organisations of different sizes with different talent management needs.
