Singapore FinTech Festival - the world's largest platform for the global FinTech community is back from 12 to 16 November this year and AIA Singapore will be featuring its industry-leading digital services innovation at the Festival.
The Singapore FinTech Festival last year attracted more than 30,000 attendees from 109 countries and saw some US$2 billion worth of FinTech investments. This year’s Festival is poised to be bigger, better and jammed packed with even more exciting activities.
As a driver for change in the next-generation life insurance industry, AIA Singapore will be at the Festival to demonstrate how it is leveraging technology as part of its roadmap to become the leading digitally-enabled life insurer.
In recent years, it was awarded the Excellence in Distribution Channel Management Award, and Innovation of the Year Award in 2013 for its launch of iPoS, a fully mobile and secured interactive point-of-sales platform, which was a first in the world at that time. In 2015, it augmented iPoS with Singapore insurance industry’s first fully mobile Digital Underwriter, which enabled on-the-spot underwriting decisions. With the Digital Underwriter, AIA Singapore won Innovator of the Year Award for Financial Services Industry.

AIA is the first insurer in Singapore to introduce humanoid robots and artificial intelligence to elevate customer experience by incorporating artificial intelligence. It recently opened its new customer service centre at Finlayson Green and introduced new customer servicing colleagues globally-recognised Pepper and home-grown humanoid Nadine in collaboration with Singapore’s Nanyang Technological University.
